Toning Your Hair Before Putting in Extensions

• We recommend that you use Ugly Duckling Intense Pearl Blonde 100V on the root and natural hair.
• This will ensure a perfect match between your hair and the extensions.

How to Put in & Remove Your Extensions

• These are tape-in extensions and can be applied in under 30 minutes.
• You will need to take them off and re-apply every 6-8 weeks as the hair grows out.
• When taking off, use an extension tape removal lotion.
• To reapply, use fresh tape.

How to Take Care of Your Hair Extensions

• Before washing your hair, detangle it first with a wide tooth comb.
• When washing, use sulfate-free acidic hair care products only.
• We recommend that you only use Ugly Duckling’s Brilliant Blondexx Shampoo and Mask with Bond Protect. 
• This contains Plex Technology. It will help maintain your hair extensions and prolong their life.
• When applying Brilliant Blondexx mask, leave in for 10 minutes before rinsing.
• This will help keep your extensions strong, soft and easy to style and comb

Some Other Maintenance Tips

• Avoid getting sunscreen on your hair. 
• When swimming in chlorinated water, sea water and hot pools, tie up your hair and wear a swimming cap.
• When styling with hot tools, using gentle temperature settings.
• Avoid applying heat directly on the hair extensions tape.
• Do not apply conditioner or mask on the tape area.
• Ugly Duckling hair extensions can last up to 2 years if taken care of properly.
