Shipping & Returns
- Ugly Duckling offers free shipping on all US orders. We do have a small handling charge on orders under $20, however. But other than that, shipping is free.
US NORMAL DELIVERY
- Orders received before 12 noon PST will generally ship the same day. We will email you a tracking number as soon as your parcel ships, so please add us to your contacts to make sure you receive this email.
- We generally use DHL consolidation services, but the last mile delivery to your salon or home will typically be done by USPS.
- Shipping time is around 7 business days depending on where exactly you live. There are currently some shipping delays due to the COVID-19 situation.
- Please allow some additional time for shipments to PO Boxes, Military APO/FPO addresses, Hawaii & Alaska.
US EXPEDITED DELIVERY
- Expedited shipments go by DHL expedited, which generally means a transit time of 2-3 days depending on where in the US you live.
We ship to the following countries
- Canada & Mexico
- South America
- Countries in the EC but not Italy or Spain.
- South Africa
- Middle East & the Indian Subcontinent.
- Australia and New Zealand.
Please be aware that international customers are responsible for any import taxes and other duties incurred by importing goods.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING TIME
- We ship international orders by UPS Mail Innovations (International Normal) and by Fedex International Economy (International Expedited).
- UPS Mail Innovations (International Normal) takes 10-14 days and transits by the regular postage service in your country.
- Fedex International Economy (International Expedited) takes around 5-7 days only and is delivered directly by Fedex.
OUR RETURNS POLICY
- Ugly Duckling has a 30 day return policy, no catches, no exception. If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you have up to 30 days to return your order and get a full refund.
- Returned products must however be unused, in their original packaging, and sent from the address where you received them.
- Partial returns on promotion bundles (for example, promotions involving free shade charts, developers, salon tools and other items offered against bulk purchase, also price discounts against bulk purchases) will not be accepted. When returning promotional offers, please return the whole set.
HOW TO RETURN MERCHANDISE
- To return merchandise, please contact us on this link and ask us to provide you return shipping label.
- We will email you one within 24 hours.
- You will need to print that out and stick it firmly on the box and mail it back to us.
- The return address is marked on the RMA Label, and is as follows: Ugly Duckling Returns, C/O Elevate 3PL, 22340 Van Buren Blvd, Riverside, CA 92518
- Please send us back the packing list with the shipment. That will help us speed up the returns process.
- Once your return is received and inspected at our distribution center, your refund will be processed and applied to the credit card you used to make the payment.
