CASE NO 1: MAJOR COLOR CORRECTION - GETTING RID OF COLOR BUILD UP (DIRECT COLOR)
- Our client had had her hair previously colored with direct color - blue and green! She wanted to change it.
- When you have cases like this, the first thing you need to do is a full bleach bath.
- Use equal proportions of Brilliant Blondexx, 20 Vol developer, salon quality shampoo and warm water.
- Segment finely and apply, saturating the hair fully.
- Let it process until all the hair is lifted to a consistent pale yellow.
- If necessary, make some fresh mix and apply in during the processing if you see that the hair is not lifting.
- In this case, our stylist Elona Taki applied Ugly Duckling 7VV and blue.

CASE NO 2: LIFTING UP VERY VERY DARK ROOTS & GOING PLATINUM BLONDE
- Our client had previously lightened lengths which were really very blonde.
- However, she had a really dark regrowth.
- Our stylist Elona Taki applied Brilliant Blonde and 20 Vol to the regrowth area.
- In cases like this you need to be careful to avoid overlapping, otherwise you will get major breakage on the already white ends.
- If you do overlap while applying the bleach, you can just wipe back with a cloth and you should be fine.
- You really need to get that root area all the way up to close to level 10 as you can make it.
- In general, the root area lifts pretty fast due to the heat of the scalp. Plus of course, it's virgin hair.
- Once lifted, rinse.
- When applying toner, apply to the more yellow part first.
- The ends just basically required a quick 10 minutes refresh.
