How to Succeed with Your Intense Silver Blonde Application:
- If hair is not already blonde, lift using Brilliant Blondexx Lightener & Developer.
- Try to eliminate as much of the brassiness as possible and make sure hair is at level 8/9 (see chart below)
- Rinse when this has been achieved.
- Towel dry to get rid of excess moisture.
- Now apply Intense Pearl Blonde Toner 100V.
- Use with 10 Vol if your hair is truly well pre-lightened to a level 9/10.
- Use with 20 Vol developer if your hair is still very yellow or if you are aiming for level a 10 blonde result.
- Make sure your product and developer mix is runny (1 part toner to 2 parts developer).
- This will help you work fast and get an even color result.
- Try and saturate the hair with as much product as possible. This will also help the toning process.
- Rinse as soon as you get the desired color result (the product is very fast acting)
- Normally, 10 minutes of processing time is sufficient to neutralize all yellow.
- To finish and maintain, use professional sulfate-free acidic hair care products.
- Use Brilliant Blonde Purple Shampoo and Mask to keep yellow away
- Use Brilliant Blondexx Shampoo and Mask with Bond Protect to keep hair strong, healthy and breakage-free.

Best color I ever had
I have been wanting the silver blonde hair for quite some time but no one could ever get me the right shade. My friend told me about ugly duckling silver blonde toner and I figured I’d give it a try. Before you buy this you have to be a pale blonde like 9/10 to get the white/silver blonde look. I tried this with my beautician and we used a vol 20 developer with the toner and it took all the brass I had out of my hair and gave me the white/silver blonde look I’ve been wanting. My hair wasn’t damaged and felt pretty good afterwards. I would recommend this for anyone wanting to achieve the white/blonde look and you could also use it as a hilift blonde with a 30 developer.
I have bought this for a few years. I saw some reviews saying that it faded fast for them. Here’s some tips for someone doing their own hair for 15 years or more. Do not wash your hair that much, use dry shampoo. Use toners such as joico for blonde between washes. Do not wash hair in hot water as colors will fade quickly. Take hair vitamins and use heat protector if you use hot tools.
