First, bleach your client's hair.

First, mix your bleach with 20 or 30 Vol developer according to the lift that you require and apply to the hair.

How to bleach hair to level 9

Make sure that your mix is nice and wet. You need to really saturate the hair in order to get a good lift. A mixture of 1 part bleach to 2 parts developer is good. Smother it onto the hair and make sure you leave it on for as long as it takes to get to a level 9 very very pale yellow. You can see in the video how far you need to lift.

Then apply Ugly Duckling's Pearl Blonde toner 10V, mixed with 20 Vol developer. This toner contains a lot of pearl and purple toning agents along with blonde color and lift. Apply generously and wait around 10-15 minutes.
