Use 10.2 with 20 Vol developer.

Don't forget: it's a real blonding color, not just a toner, so we want more of these pigments to work relative to just lighten

How & When to Use These Toners

Developer Choice

In all cases, use all these toners with 20 Vol developer.

Mix them 1 part toner to 2 parts developer in a plastic mixing bowl.

Segment the hair well and apply, and go fast, as they are all very fast acting.

Watch carefully and rinse with water when done: around 15-20 minutes is normally what it takes.

Intense Versus Regular

Use the intense toners if the hair if the hair still needs some more lift.

For example, if it is still very yellow after bleaching.

And use the regular toners if you want a little lift but you don't want to push the level of the hair up.

Violet Versus Blue

Now, reflect. Choose the toner ending in V ("V" means violet) if you want more or a purple or violet based toner.

This is particularly helpful when countering yellow hair.

And choose the toner ending in B ("B" means blue) if you want more of a blue based toner.

You can also combine the 2 if you wish both these pigments to act on your hair.

Best Ash Blonde toner

If you are looking to tone hair ash blonde (rather than ultra white platinum blonde) then we would recommend you use Blondify Natural Ash Blonde Toner

This is an ammonia-free gloss toner, and it process in only 10 minutes.

It is also PPD free and contains Bond Protect.

It gives truly excellent ash blonde results.

You can use this to refresh faded highlights or full heads.

It doesn't lift, so you can use it also to tone your client's highlights without lifting or touching the darker parts.

Or lifting their base in any way. This is very useful & not many toners can achieve this.
